Maggie Antone – The Devil’s Not In Hell

Maggie Antone by Matthew Alec Gold2

Rising vocalist, songwriter and producer Maggie Antone unveils her new song, “The Devil’s Not in Hell,” today via Love Big and Thirty Tigers.

“This is the perfect track for a feminine rage playlist about a stereotypical, bar crawling, manipulative, self-absorbed, sweet-talking man who is way too big for his britches.” Antone says. “He prioritizes the boys, has to have his way and thinks he’s god’s gift to women.”

“The Devil’s Not in Hell” marks Antone’s first new music since her critically acclaimed 2024 debut album, Rhinestoned. The project earned widespread praise upon its release, landing on Rough Trade’s best albums of 2024 list and drawing recognition from The Tennessean, American Songwriter, Whiskey Riff, Country Central, Nashville Lifestyles and more. The album’s breakout single, “Johnny Moonshine,” was highlighted by Holler as a “playful country groove,” showcasing Antone’s gift for blending classic country storytelling with a fresh, self-aware edge.

Antone is also set to return to the road early next year for a run of U.S. headline shows with her band The Rhinestones. Kicking off January 8 in Newport, KY, stops include Asheville’s Grey Eagle Tavern, Houston’s House of Blues, Austin’s Antone’s and more.

Antone’s tour arrives on the heels of a powerhouse 2025 in which Antone played her first-ever North American headline tour with stops in Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Richmond and more. She appeared at some of the year’s biggest festivals, including Under The Big Sky, ACL Fest and Windy City Smokeout, and shared stages with Megan Moroney, Brent Cobb, Ella Langley and more.

Maggie Antone is one of country’s most exciting new voices, making a name with heart-on-her-sleeve honesty and sharp, self-referential humor. Born and raised in Richmond, VA and now living in Nashville, her raw songwriting and captivating covers have won over fans and critics alike. Her debut album Rhinestoned was released last year via Thirty Tigers and Antone’s own label Love Big to widespread acclaim. A songwriter since the age of 16, Antone has made music her full-time job since leaving college in late 2021. More from Antone is imminent.
