Sigrid – There’s Always More That I Could Say

Sigrid has announced her third album There’s Always More That I Could Say, out 24th October via Island Records/EMI, and released new single “Fort Knox.”
Written in Bergen with long-time collaborators, the album reflects a renewed creative freedom. After stepping back from “content culture” in 2024, Sigrid travelled solo through remote parts of Norway and returned to festival stages in South America, rediscovering her instinct for songwriting. That shift runs through “Fort Knox”, a track that turns heartbreak and anger into something euphoric. Built on pulsing synth bass and recorded largely in a handheld vocal take, it uses the metaphor of the U.S. military vault to describe emotional armour: “This time, I’m gonna lock my love in a box / And safeguard it like it’s Fort Knox.”
The single follows ‘Jellyfish’, a lighter, carefree moment Sigrid described as “easy, like a Scandinavian summer”.
Both tracks showcase different sides of an album that spans infatuation, heartbreak and reflection, with her signature blend of piano-led songwriting, soaring vocals and bold pop choruses.
