Absolutely – Goodbye Glitter

UK singer, songwriter, and rising star Absolutely returns today with the brand-new single “Goodbye Glitter” via Epic Records.

The cinematically gorgeous song is her first solo single since the release of her debut album CEREBRUM and arrives in the midst of the artist’s North American tour with fellow alt-pop musician Banks.

“Goodbye glitter, I’ve got to go,” Absolutely signs hauntingly yet confidently, with shimmering piano keys and celestial, swelling strings as her backdrop. “I’ve found some stardust and it’s better than anything I’ve known.” The metaphorical and deeply expressive songwriting that has characterized Absolutely’s career to this point are front-and-center, its songwriting amplified with spare instrumental. Written by Absolutely, Paul Keen, and legendary producer Danja, the track was produced by Danja with arrangements by Peter Lee Johnson (strings) and Johan Lenox (all other instruments).

“Goodbye Glitter” serves to tee up a lot of new music coming from Absolutely this year. Currently in the midst of the OFF WITH HER HEAD Tour with Banks.
