Speaking on the story behind ‘Clearer’, Murphy shares; “This song really wraps up my last year’s journey to self love and all things acceptance and healing. I’d found myself in some of the hardest, most lonely times of my life, and realised my old ways of thinking and coping weren’t working and I had to do something about it. Tough love and being hard on yourself isn’t sustainable and will eventually catch up to you. Written with Ethan Reginato & Olivia Dennis, one of the best sessions I’ve had. We are all at similar stages in our lives so it became one big therapy session, but still the most fun.”
