Isabel LaRosa – My Girl

Today, sensational alt-pop star Isabel LaRosa releases her new single, “My Girl” via Slumbo Labs/RCA Records.
The track captures the ache of waiting for someone through dreamy soundscapes, encapsulating quiet yearning into a sweeping, emotionally charged experience. It expands the sonic universe Isabel began crafting with her debut album Raven—a world that’s both immersive and hauntingly beautiful, suspended between tenderness and tension.
On “My Girl,” Isabel shares: “My Girl is about wanting someone you know you can’t have, but still not being able to let go of the “what if.” It’s about being unafraid to love loudly even if there are consequences. It’s very special to me because it’s a part of my identity that I’ve never shared before.”
Earlier this year, Isabel’s debut album Raven marked a defining moment in her evolution as both an artist and storyteller.

Co-writing every track, the record blends atmospheric production with emotionally resonant coming-of-age songwriting. Billboard praised, “Annapolis singer-songwriter Isabel Larosa has been a buzzed-about name in online pop discourse for months now, and debut album Raven makes good on the promise of her early singles: with a breathy vocal delivery as a signature and a knack for choosing propulsive, alternative-leaning production, Larosa stands out in a crowded field, and should be moving upward from here.”
The accompanying Raven short film, directed by Isabel herself and starring Shameless’ Ethan Cutkosky, brought the album’s themes to life through a cinematic lens. The film captures the visceral highs and devastating lows of a love that lingers long after it’s gone. Acting as both a symbol and a memory, Raven explores consciousness during heartbreak—ghosted by what was and haunted by what might have been.
Laying the foundation for a universe pulsing with heartache and suspense, Isabel invites fans to step into it in real time with her upcoming performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago, a run of summer festivals in Europe, and her headline tour of the UK and Europe at end of year. Following the success of her headlining Psychopomp Tour and festival appearances at Lollapalooza India and Governor’s Ball—this next chapter brings her vision to international stages.
