 Blonde

This EP is an introduction to Kyra’s musical world and tells a mysterious story that’s open to interpretation by her fans. Alongside the project, Kyra also dropped the official video for the title track “Blonde.”

Prior to releasing this EP, Kyra shared “Kinda Girl”, “Handsy” and “DNA” to give fans an early sneak peek.

When asked about her Blonde EP, Kyra says: “I have more fun now because I have bleach in my brain.”

This debut EP release follows the release of her three-track bundle which included tracks “Speed”, “Shibuya” and “Connect.”

Each song highlights her aesthetic of music that intertwines future pop vibes with various productions and beats, which perfectly incapulates Kyra’s sound. This past year, Kyra attended the 4th Annual Gold House Gala, bringing together Asian Pacific American stars, industry leaders and more to celebrate their excellence. She also attended Mark Daftari’s class at Millennium Dance Complex in LA, where he taught choreography to “DNA.”

Born and raised in Japan, Kyra signed with a Japanese label at 14 years old and after years of hard work and persistence, her journey brought her to Los Angeles to continue to pursue her goals and passion with her music. With musical influences such as Gwen Stefani, Pussy Cat Dolls, Lady Gaga and Fergie, Kyra describes her sound as “playful yet sexy and confident vocal tone layered over club/electronic influenced production.” She’s done various campaigns early on in her career already for fashion and car companies including Converse, Skims, Nike Air Max, Mercedes Benz and more. Now with the release of music that represents her and her artistry, Kyra is ready to be at the top of everyone’s future pop playlists.
