Milk & Bone – Hoops

Electrifying Canadian duo Milk & Bone continue to release thunderous tracks one after another. TODAY – they are excited to release their second single, “Hoops,” from the upcoming collaborative new EP entirely produced by fellow Montreal duo Chromeo, A Little Lucky, which will arrive on December 5, 2025, via Nettwerk.
“Hoops” is about the push and pull between moments of isolation, self-preservation, and the desire to be seen. Although the song was written at the height of the 2020 pandemic, and thus quite literal in its isolation-themed identity, it also happens to translate to so many moments since the world has been released from our respective homes.
“Hoops” is about the sudden burst of social energy, the physical memory of how it feels to be seen and desired, and realizing that if you want that person, you will have to make yourself known by that person. Put on a cute fit, leave the house, go to that bar you like, see what happens!
Milk & Bone’s Laurence Lafond-Beaulne and Camille Poliquin share, “Hoops” is a funky-pop anthem that reminds us of the golden days of Robyn’s 2010 pop domination. The arpeggiated bass will have you walking fast as the drums lead you to the earworm chorus and make you want to jump up and down in front of the mirror in your bedroom as you’re trying on outfits for the night.”
Milk & Bone’s harmonies and adlibs fly free as Chromeo’s production remains grounded and fun in this new collaborative single. “
“Hoops” follows the first single “Bloodshot.”
