ILUKA – Witch Girls

Today, Australian singer-songwriter ILUKA unleashes her spellbound anthem just in time for Halloween, titled “Witch Girls.”
A powerful pop anthem about finding strength in discovering your true self, “Witch Girls” is an enthralling invocation for the weirdos, the outsiders, and the wild ones—the haunted and unruly, the ones who never fit in and never wanted to. ILUKA shares, “It’s for the girlies and the gays who found power in their otherness, who chose magic over normalcy and cast their own circles in salt, smoke, and sacred fire.”
“Witch Girls” is the latest single from ILUKA’s forthcoming full-length album, the wild, the innocent, & the raging, which will arrive November 21, 2025, via Nettwerk. The album is a fierce celebration of individuality, womanhood, and defiance, that embraces ILUKA’s unapologetic honesty — a quality that has defined her as one of alt-pop’s most vital disruptors. To celebrate “Witch Girls,” ILUKA is excited to share that she will host an album release show at The Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles on December 4th.
“I’m open about feeling like an outsider,” she shares. “I never felt like I fully fit into one thing. Much of the music celebrates being a weirdo rather than always fighting it. There are elements of love, heartbreak, and throwing yourself into experiences. It’s personal and political. For as much as it reflects on the dire state of our planet, it also celebrates being alive, finding your weirdo friends, and living a beautiful life.”
ILUKA’S spirit has crystallized in all her previous singles, including “Crucify Me,” “Girl On The Run,” and “Woman Gone Mad,” to name a few. Her unflinching approach to songwriting is laced with intimacy and rage, underscoring her feminist perspective and refusal to shrink herself in a world that often polices femininity. As she shares:
“This is a new era of being direct about who I am. I’m completely and unapologetically me. It’s such a rebellious thing for a woman to show up in the world like this. I’m taking up space and sharing how I authentically feel.”
With raw lyricism and fearless conviction, ILUKA dissects the brutality of girlhood and the relentless scrutiny placed on women, particularly those in the spotlight across her upcoming record, the wild, the innocent, & the raging.
