Sienna Spiro – Die On This Hill

Today, London-based singer/songwriter SIENNA SPIRO continues a monumental run as she officially shares a spellbinding performance of her heart-shattering single, “Die On This Hill.” Recorded live at Brooklyn’s historic Warsaw club during her run opening for Sam Smith’s “To Be Free: New York City” residency, the black-and-white video finds her delivering vocals that go from stunning to staggering over piano accompaniment and screams from the crowd.
Also today, Gap launches their “Give Your Gift” holiday campaign anchored by SIENNA’s soulful reinterpretation of Miley Cyrus’s 2009 hit, “The Climb.” With the collaboration, Gap aims to shine a light on connection, hope, and the power of music to unite generations this holiday season. The accompanying film — directed by Bethany Vargas and photographed by Bjorn Iooss — features a powerful performance from the 20-year-old artist joined by a multigenerational choir, ages 8 to 72. Together, SIENNA and the singers turn a nostalgic song into a message of strength and connection.
With “Die On This Hill,” SIENNA earned her biggest debut yet, racking up over 1 million streams within 24 hours and more than 16 million to date. A gorgeous showcase for SIENNA’s one-of-a-kind vocals, “Die On This Hill” came to life in collaboration with a top-tier lineup of co-producers: Omer Fedi (SZA, Lil Nas X), Michael Pollack (Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga), and Blake Slatkin (Sam Smith, Tate McRae). In a masterful accompaniment to SIENNA’s soulful voice, the track also features an opulent string arrangement from three-time GRAMMY®-winner Rob Moose (Lorde, Taylor Swift).
