Moody Joody – OOPS!

Few musical acts are having as much fun right now as rising pop trio Moody Joody. And it’s all on full display with the shimmer pop crew’s latest single “OOPS!” Infectiously funky and free, the group’s tantalizing new single is an anthem for those wild nights and early mornings… albeit peppered with just the slightest tinge of regret. Yes, the song is every bit as playfully partystarting as the group itself.
This sort of carefree, take-it-or-leave-it attitude is front and center in the brand-new music video for “OOPS,” which finds lead vocalists Kaitie Forbes and Kayla Hall quite literally the life of an otherwise doldrum party. In the video, which Hall describes as “Moody Joody meets Coyote Ugly!,” the two ladies are living their best life with zero pause.
“‘OOPS!’ feels like an entirely new era of Moody Joody,” says Hall proudly. “We really wanted to take the music to the next level along with the visuals.”
It’s true: “OOPS!”, co-written with Grammy-nominated hitmaker Scott Harris (Shawn Mendes, Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber), is only the start of what promises to be an exciting new musical chapter for Moody Joody. The Nashville trio, which includes producer Andrew Pacheco, is currently in the studio working on their forthcoming new album.
It’s been a thrilling year for Moody Joody, who released their debut EP Dream Girl, were included on Rolling Stone’s “Songs You Need To Know” list. Additionally, the group recently performed a raucous set at the Austin City Limits Festival. Moody Joody, who HITS described “equal parts swoony, sexy and, well, moody,” also previously toured with Smallpools, Misterwives and on the 21-city “Victory Lap” North American Tour as direct support for ARIZONA.
