K-pop’s rising global sensation AtHeart unveils the English version of their hit single “Plot Twist” today [TITAN CONTENT/IMPERIAL Music], expanding the reach of the group’s dynamic debut anthem that has captured the attention of fans and media around the world.
“Plot Twist (English ver.)” preserves the dreamy harmonies and emotional intensity of the original while infusing its story of unexpected love with fresh lyrical charm and a distinctly global pop sensibility. The track builds from an a cappella opening into surging EDM-infused pop, mirroring the emotional highs and lows of unexpected connection and self-discovery. Crafted by a powerhouse team with credits spanning East and West — including work with Chappell Roan, Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, BTS, IVE, and more — the track was produced by Jonah Shy and Jack Laboz, written by Hilda Stenmalm and David Charles Fischer, and mixed by Grammy-winning engineer Rob Kinelski (Billie Eilish).
The release of “Plot Twist (English ver.)” marks the next step in AtHeart’s fast-rising global trajectory. Featuring members from South Korea, the United States, Japan, and the Philippines, AtHeart embodies the spirit of a truly global K-pop act – reflecting the group’s cross-cultural identity and worldwide ambition. The formation of AtHeart aligns with TITAN CONTENT’s ambitious vision, spearheaded by Nikki Semin Han, the renowned K-pop executive and former CEO of SM Entertainment. Han announced the launch of TITAN CONTENT on November 28, 2023, through Variety, introducing it as the world’s first premier K-pop-focused music company headquartered in the U.S. TITAN’s leadership team also includes CEO Katie Kang, CBO Dom Rodriguez, Chief Visual Officer Guiom Lee, and Chief Performance Officer Lia Kim.
