Izzy Camina – Saline EP

Today, producer and songwriter Izzy Camina releases her new EP, Saline, on Helix Records.

Previously announced under a different name, Saline serves  as Camina’s first body of work since 2023’s ANG3L NUMB3RS. In celebration of the EP’s release, she’s invited her friends umru, DJ_Dave, Nation, Ali RQ, Cece Natalie, and more to perform at the release party this Friday in Brooklyn.

Camina interrogates intense subject matter (“singular focus on transformation, through compulsive modes of (not necessarily sexual) eroticism and annihilation”) across Saline. Here, occult and paranormal themes find themselves fleshed out over pounding electronic sounds, all these elements converging into an alt-pop song. Hard techno bangers like “Grimoire” and “Seraphim” demonstrate Camina’s appreciation for all things heavy, while melodic violin strings in “Neptune Mood” and the title track provide an epic air to her supernaturally-tinged lyrics.

“Over half of this EP is entirely self-produced, including ‘Neptune Mood’ aside from Shaan’s violin,” shares Camina. “I generally prefer to produce on my own, as my vision gets lost in co-productions.”

Saline arrives December 5th via Helix Records.
