Liverpool, UK duo King Hannah craft textured, earthy indie folk. Today, the band announce a new lmtd 7″ “This Hotel Room” / “Look At Miss Ohio,” out December 4, 2025 via City Slang.

Ahead of the full release, which includes a Gillian Welch cover on the B-side, the band has shared “This Hotel Room.”

Recorded by Ali Chant and mastered by Bob Weston, “This Hotel Room” finds King Hannah leaning into their love of harmony and classic country-folk songwriting, crafting a song that feels both timeless and deeply human. It’s a track about searching for warmth and connection amid memory and change — about the way love lives in both what’s lost and what’s yet to come. Honest, reflective, and beautifully understated, it’s King Hannah at their most vulnerable and assured.

On the track, King Hannah share: “Our favourite thing to do is sing together and harmonise and we wanted a song of our own that allowed us to do this, a song that sounded timeless and nostalgic and paid homage to the country-folk singers we love so much while still resonating as a King Hannah track. We’re always trying to capture an intimacy and write in a way that is personal and honest and reflective, and ‘This Hotel Room’ is no exception to this. To us it’s about the past and the future, about trying to find warmth and love in both of those things while also recognising the sadness and sense of loss inherent to both.”
